Emmy Noether Project Transferred to the University of Passau

On 1 December 2019, the Emmy Noether Project about "Mediating (semi-)authoritarianism: The Power of the Internet in the Post-Soviet World" moved from the Free University of Berlin to the University of Passau in Southern Germany. The project followed its group leader Dr. Florian Toepfl, who is to be appointed Professor for Political Communication at Passau University in 2020.  Presently, he is heading a Research Unit for Political Communication at Passau University. He is also Principal Investigator of a ERC Consolidator Project about The Consequences of the Internet for Russia's Informational Influence Abroad (RUSINFORM, 2019-2024).
